DFTB’s Primary Care Paediatrics Course covers key presentations in a primary care or first contact setting. Covers acute and developmental primary care paediatrics.



DFTB’s Primary Care Paediatrics course covers key primary care or first contact presentations and is aimed at all generalist clinicians who see children in primary care, urgent treatment centres or the ED.

It will be especially suitable for GPs, GP Registrars, ACPs, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates.

Day 1 is acute presentations. Sessions include: asthma, sore throats, earache, acute abdomen, the limping child, safeguarding, self harm, rashes.

Day 2 is more developmental presentations. Sessions include: the eight-week check, period problems, principles of trauma informed care, feeding problems, acne, continence, and many more relevant hot topics.

There will also be live panel discussions and Q+As.
