Course Details
DFTB’s Sedation Course covers key topics of paediatric procedural sedation in the emergency department. We have put together a programme that will bring you on a journey starting right at the beginning with patient selection and sedation preparation, through choosing the right agent, dealing with complications and finally safe discharge. We take a deep dive into the literature around the use of adjunctive agents, fasting practice and managing adverse events, brought to you by DFTB’s expert paediatric emergency medicine faculty.
